Jacqueline Saavedra
Jacqueline Saavedra is an experienced legal advocate focused on serving underrepresented communities. She serves as the Associate Director of Legal Compliance and Training at Movement Voter Project (MVP) where she practices campaign finance and nonprofit law.
Prior to joining MVP, Jacqueline served as the Staff Attorney and Outreach Coordinator for Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM), a top-rated Houston nonprofit organization providing a wide-range of services to help clients meet their basic needs. A daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college graduate, Jacqueline holds a Juris Doctorate degree with a focus on International/Global Studies from the University of Missouri—Kansas City. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from Rockhurst University.
She is a member of the Missouri Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative. Aside from the Latino Texas PAC board, she also serves as the president of the Prospanica Houston Chapter.
Jacqueline is seasoned public speaker and passionate advocate of immigrant rights, access to education, and political representation at all levels of government.
